This isn’t the first time that Kim and Kourtney Kardashian have visited Miami. Two years previous to this series they were making their way through Florida before the end of Kim’s marriage after a record 72 days.

Through this season, Kim is far more interested in Kanye West. West doesn’t appear in the show that often but there are plenty of pictures shown of the couple together and she’s now pregnant with his child. There’s also quite a few gifts that Kanye sends for Kim to enjoy, including, perhaps most memorably, a Persian kitten called Mercy.

Mercy provides quite a few laughs herself including when she starts to leave droppings across the expensive carpet in the hotel room.

The Main Point of The Show

According to the premise, Kourtney and Kim Take Miami is about the Kardashian sisters focusing on their South Beach Boutique known as DASH. Where else would they set up shop beside a fashion capital like Miami? It can be fun watching them try and run a business but the real entertainment arrives whenever Kourtney even mentions Kim’s failed marriage.

Kourtney seems to take absolute delight in taking shots at Kim’s decision and it leads to some rather fun arguments. After all, Kim doesn’t seem to want to talk about it at all, despite the fact that she is involved in a messy court case. Apparently, Humphries is seeking an annulment which basically states that the marriage was a fraud.

This is just where the show starts. Throughout the course of Kourtney & Kim Take Miami we watch the sisters and the always lovable Scott Disick encounter a wide range of family issues and social troubles. Between this, there are plenty of parties and people getting so drunk they seemingly have no idea what happened during the night out.

Arguably, if you’ve seen one episode of Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, you won’t be surprised. Particularly, if you are going back through some of the older shows. However, whether they’re acting or this is them being real, there is the sense that the two seem to be having fun together on screen. They certainly have a knack for spouting some truly memorable one-liners. Both women provide a certain level of charm which is one of the reasons why they have managed to capture America’s attention so effortlessly over the years. It’s definitely on display here too, even as they continuously encounter challenges.

More of the Same

Aside from the typical support characters, it’s Scott Disick who seems to have the most fun on screen. Disick basically plays the audience. He’s never quite sure what’s going on and seems completely bemused by what’s going on around him. Despite being a member of the family, he’s an outside eye looking at the world of the Kardashian’s from the perspective of a typical audience member. It’s one of the reasons why he has become a household favorite and he does get time to shine here too.

Kourtney and Kim Take Miami Gave Scott Disick Wings & He Is Flying High

A web series spin-off was created during the third season, titled Lord Disick: Lifestyles of a Lord. The series showcases as Disick informs viewers on how to live like a “king”. Nowadays, Disick has his own reality show, Flip It Like Disick, and some say his brand is becoming bigger than the Kardashians.

There are three seasons of this show to enjoy which started in 2009 and ends with Kim’s pregnancy in the final season. That episode also includes a revelation that Kim has hired a private investigator to watch Scott because she believes he’s acting suspiciously.

Aside from the antics of trying to run, restore, and renovate a business, you will also be treated to the sisters and Scott enjoying life in Miami. This includes going on shopping sprees and attempts to reignite relationships that have been damaged. Ultimately it all provides a lot of drama, and it would be a complete lie to say it wasn’t entertaining.

Kourtney and Kim Take Miami: The Bottom Line

All in all, you’ll find it hard not to remain interested in the antics of the sisters throughout this series. There’s even a dragon boat race in one episode and more than your fair share of shocking revelations about the Kardashian family. If you already love America’s favorite family, then you’re sure to adore this series just as much as the others. If not, it just might make you realize why it has been so much fun to watch their lives unfold on screen.
