From some of the sexiest women in the world, come the sexiest men in the world. That’s right, Italian women have spoken and decided to crown Leonardo DiCaprio, Scott Disick, and Jason Statham as the three sexiest men alive. We applaud their excellent taste.

Each of the top three is famous all over the world, melting the hearts of women everywhere, so it’s great to see such a high standard being named as Italy’s top three.

Three very different guys, each with their own unique appeal, it’s easy to see why they made the top of the list. Let’s take a closer look at them.

1. Leonardo DiCaprio

Mega movie star that’s been on many women’s sexiest lists over the years, there’s no denying the star quality and sex appeal of one of Hollywood’s most A-list actors.

Everyone’s favorite teenage crush, it’s good to see that Leonardo DiCaprio, 45, can still melt hearts all over the world. With plenty of charm, talent, and charisma, like a fine wine, Leo has only got better with age.

He might be considered a veteran in Hollywood by now, but there’s still a huge demand for DiCaprio. This year Leo’s nominated for his seventh Academy Award, just four years after his last win for The Revenant. This year he’s nominated for Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, starring sexiest man alive hall of famer Brad Bitt. While Leo plays an actor in the film, his career couldn’t be further from that of his character, who was once the celebrated TV star, now struggling to hold down guest roles in bad TV westerns.

Leo and Brad make quite the pair on-screen and seem to have hit it off off-screen too. Despite the fact that their careers have lasted decades, it’s the first time for the duo to work together – brought together on screen by Tarantino. Leo previously made a star turn as the villain in Tarantino’s 2012 ‘revisionist Western’ Django Unchained, while Pitt had a starring role in the epic 2009 Inglourious Basterds. As Pitt collected the Best Supporting Actor award at the Golden Globes earlier this month, he thanked ‘LDC’, his partner in crime, and a new nickname was born for our beloved Leo.

It’s been a fantastic few years for Leo, whose on-screen career has gone from strength to strength. Carefully selecting his projects, his list of most recent movies are all huge blockbuster hits. Before Once Upon a Time in Hollywood there was The Revenant, The Wolf of Wall Street, The Great Gatsby, Django Unchained and the incredible Inception.

He is one of Hollywood’s most bankable and reliable actors, and it’s no wonder that he’s now completed multiple collaborations with directors like Tarantino and Martin Scorcese. His next project will see him once again unite with Scorcese for Killers of the Flower Moon, also starring Robert De Niro, which follows the FBI investigation of the members of the Osage tribe. The investigation was led by J.Edgar Hoover, who DiCaprio played back in 2011.

Leonardo DiCaprio might make headlines for his movies, but his personal life also causes quite a stir. The Wolf of Wall Street actor is often mocked for his penchant for dating young models, with his current girlfriend, Camila Morrone, being 22 years old. His previous girlfriends include Bar Rafaeli and Gisele.

Since the 1990s, when Leo rose to mega-fame thanks to roles in Romeo and Juliet and of course, Titanic, he’s been no stranger to these types of lists. In 1998, he was named People’s ‘Most Beautiful Person in the World’ and has continued to feature in similar lists since. He seemingly hasn’t aged much since 1998 either, maintaining his same youthful good looks which have had women swooning since Titanic hit our screens in 1997.

DiCaprio is also no stranger to Italy. His name indicates some obvious Italian roots, but he is also known for spending his summers traveling Europe by yacht. In summer 2019, he was spotted multiple times around Italy with Morrone, visiting locations such as Sardinia, Positano, and Ponza.

Despite his name, it’s been reported that DiCaprio’s Italian isn’t his strong suit. He spoke Italian to the Pope during a visit to Florence back in 2016, but reporters claim it was patchy and needed improving.

Being sexy on screen is one thing, but Leo has also proved he can be sexy off-screen too. He is widely recognized for his involvement with the climate change movement, launching the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation in 1998 to promote environmental awareness. He regularly produces and narrates environmental documentaries, and donated millions of dollars to environmental-related causes. Most recently, he donated $3 million to help the Australia bush fire relief efforts, a disaster which has seen millions of animals perish, as well as the destruction of a large portion of land.

Another thing that’s sexy about DiCaprio, of course, is his loyalty. He has stayed friends with the same group as the early days of his fame, with Tobey Maguire, Lukas Haas, and Vincent Laresca forming his own wolf pack. Back in the 1990s, they were nicknamed ‘The Pussy Posse’, and also included other famous names such as Entourage star Kevin Connelly and David Blane. Based around New York, the group was regularly seen enjoying some of NYC’s most exclusive clubs. While it’s fair to see the group have likely moved on and grown up since then, we know that Leo still enjoys a part of the party lifestyle, and regularly hosts various soirees on his yacht.

Proving he’s got the brains as well as the looks, it seems that Leonardo DiCaprio really is one of the sexiest men alive.

2. Scott Disick

Italian women are so impressed with Disick that he reminds them of a young Donald J. Trump. They even suggested that he run for President one day. Go figure!

The second name on this hotlist is Scott Disick. With his piercing blue eyes and chiseled jaw, it’s no wonder he made the list. The consensus seemed to be that Disick’s party days are over and he has matured over the last few years. He has become a “man’s man.” Reports of Scott Disick’s net worth have reached as high as $85 million.

While once best-known for being the boyfriend of Kourtney Kardashian, as well as the father of their three children, he is now, of course, a self-made celebrity in his own right. He is currently dating American model Sofia Richie, daughter of Lionel Richie – lucky Sofia!

If you loved watching Scott Disick on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, you’ll know that he’s funny, intelligent and incredibly good looking. Bringing something extra to the Kardashian household, there’s definitely a void since he stopped being a full-time member of America’s royal family.

But how much do you really know about Scott Disick? Let’s get to know him a little better.

Born in 1983, Disick was raised in Eastport, New York. His parents are named Jeffrey and Bonnie and he is an only child – so meeting the Kardashians must have come as quite a shock! He was a student at The Ross School, a respected private school in the exclusive East Hampton area. When he was younger, Scott Disick was a model, appearing on young adult novel covers.

It’s rumored that Disick met Kourtney Kardashian at a club, although this story has never been confirmed by either party. They were together from 2006 to 2015, and had three beautiful children during that time: Mason Dash (born December 14, 2009), daughter Penelope Scotland (born July 8, 2012), and son Reign Aston (born December 14, 2014). He is still very much the family man, supporting his children and spending time with them, a life which Sofia is also very much a part of.

Disick regularly featured in the Kardashian’s reality series, including Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kourtney and Khloe Take The Hamptons and Kourtney and Kim Take New York. Now that he is no longer with Kim, he’s rumored to be taking his life is away from the LA home of the Kardashians, and move to New York City. With a different pace and a different crowd to LA, it’ll be interesting to see what lies ahead in Disick’s future.

Did you know that Disick is actually a Lord? Well, kinda. He bought himself a knighting ceremony over the internet and asked friends and family to start calling him Lord Disick or The Lord. It’s this sense of humor, as well as striking good looks that have won over Italian women and ranked him among some other worthy opponents on the list. I’m sure there are plenty who would love the title of ‘Lady’ to his Lord.

Disick’s next venture is a new reality TV series, Flip it Like Disick, which sees him taking on the challenge of home-flipping. It’s a welcome return to TV for Disick, a must for fans! If you love real estate and home transformation shows, this is one you should program into your DVR. The properties have been transformed using his own sophisticated style, before being flipped to make a significant profit. It’s proved a popular series in the US – could he make it across the Atlantic and bring his home renovation skills to Italy too?

It’s no secret that Scott Disick loves Italy. Just like DiCaprio, Disick spent much of the summer exploring the Amalfi Coast in Italy by yacht with Sofia Ritchie. The yacht itself is rumored to be worth $250 million – who wouldn’t want to sail on that? He was traveling with Kylie Jenner and her partner Travis Scott, as well as their daughter Stormi. It’s great to see that family is still an important part of life for Disick, despite splitting from Kourtney.

So what kind of guy is Scott Disick? Aside from the obvious good looks, there is so much more. He’s known for his great sense of style and famously told US Weekly back in 2011 that he only owns one pair of sweatpants. His signature style usually involves a sophisticated suit, so it’s no surprise that sweatpants are not a key part of his wardrobe. Always sharp and perfectly groomed, Scott Disick is very easy on the eye.

Disick’s favorite show is Seinfeld, proving that he has an excellent sense of humor. He once admitted that he watches the show ‘every night before bed’, which seems like quite a commitment! Start watching those old episodes if you want to get into bed with Scott!

3. Jason Statham

A cool Brit who’s one of Hollywood’s most bankable action stars, Statham might seem like the tough guy, but he’s got plenty of sex appeal to keep women interested. Don’t we all wish we were Rosie Huntington-Whitely?

From the boyish charm of Leonardo DiCaprio, to the rising stardom of Scott Disick, we now move on to British tough guy Jason Statham, 52. Statham is currently one of Hollywood’s most popular action heroes, which is largely thanks to roles in the Fast and the Furious franchise and The Expendables.

Whether it’s the accent or the looks that have got Italian women fired up, there’s no denying that Statham isn’t also talented. While the action is his forte, he has also proven to be skilled in comedy, with some star turns in Spy with Melissa McCarthy, and voiced Tybalt in Gnomeo and Juliet. He also appeared in the 2018 shark movie The Meg, which despite mixed reviews from critics, was a hit with fans.

Despite his mega-star status, you might not know much about Statham and how he came to be on this shortlist. Born in 1967 in Derby, UK, Statham had a modest upbringing, which differs greatly from that of typical British actors. He used to play football with fellow actor Vinnie Jones, but he also took up a keen interest in diving. He was a part of the UK’s National Swimming Squad for 12 years and even competed in the Commonwealth Games. It seemed even back then he was destined for great things.

Statham was ‘discovered’ while training in London by agency Sports Promotions, and was soon signed up to be a model. Over the years he modeled for Tommy Hilfiger, Levi, and French Connection. It was while working as a model that he met director Guy Ritchie, who cast him in the cult hit Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. This led to another collaboration with Richie, working on Snatched with Brad Pitt (is there a theme here?), before being cast in Hollywood movies like The Transporter and The Italian Job. Over the years he has established himself as one of the world’s most bankable actors, regularly featuring in some of the year’s highest-grossing movies.

Here’s a fun little fact: Ritchie cast Statham after finding out he used to be a market seller! The role called for someone who was a ‘street-wise con’, and Ritchie was impressed after learning that Statham sold knock-off jewelry and perfume from a market stall in the past.

Did you know that Jason Statham also appeared in several music videos? He can count “Comin’ On” by The Shamen, “Run to the Sun” by Erasure, and “Dream a Little Dream of Me” by The Beautiful South. You might want to take a look at those and see what Statham looked like back in the 1990s!

But what is he like off-screen? Statham will admit he’s nothing like the tough guy he appears to be in the movies, but there’s no denying that he is up for a challenge. He’s known for doing a lot of his own stunts, including dangling from a helicopter and multiple hand-to-hand combat scenes. He is a firm believer that actors should do their own stunts, in the vein of actors like Bruce Lee, and mocked superhero movies for relying on stunt doubles for some of their most crucial scenes. He once said:

“You slip on a cape and you put on the tights and you become a superhero? They’re not doing anything! They’re just sitting in their trailer. It’s absolutely, 100 percent created by stunt doubles and green screen. How can I get excited about that?”

I guess we won’t be seeing him in any Marvel or DC movies anytime soon then! He even called for stunt actors to be given their own category at the Academy Awards, asking for them to be recognized and given credit for their work.

While he might have captured the hearts of Italian women, sadly it’s a fellow Brit that has captured Statham’s. Statham has been with Rosie Huntington-Whitely for years. The gorgeous model & actress, a former Victoria’s Secret ‘Angel’ who regularly features in the world’s ‘most beautiful’ lists. The pair got engaged in 2016 and welcomed their first child, who was born in 2017.

How does Statham stay in shape we hear you ask? As well as the usual tough-guy weights routine, Statham practices mixed martial arts. He once told Men’s Health, “That’s what I have to give most of my time to these days: training for what I have to do in terms of providing action in an authentic manner.” In his spare time, he also enjoys activities such as rock climbing, windsurfing, and jetskiing, which is something that Leonardo DiCaprio can also identify with. 

Like his personality, Statham’s friendship groups are based on loyalty and counting Dwayne Johnson and Vinnie Jones among his good friends. Statham is great at maintaining a mostly private life, despite being one half of Hollywood’s most beautiful couple.

Is there an Italian connection for Statham? Well, apart from a role in 2003’s The Italian Job, there doesn’t seem to be. Although like Scott Disick, he has spent a lot of time yachting around Italy with Huntington-Whitely, taking the opportunity to enjoy some of his hobbies in the Mediterranean Sea.

And what does the future hold for Statham? He’s expressed a keen interest in playing James Bond, and will likely return for more Fast and Furious fun after having a role in 2019’s Hobbs and Shaw adventure, for which he received particular acclaim.

The British tough guy with plenty of charm, it’s no wonder Jason Statham has found his way onto the list.
