There are a lot of reasons why Ali is one of the best films by Will Smith. For one, Will Smith gives an amazing performance as Muhammad Ali. He really captures the essence of the man and brings his story to life in a way that is both accurate and pretty inspiring. Additionally, the film itself is just really well made. The editing, directing, and cinematography all come together to create a really powerful and moving film. Finally, it’s just an enjoyable and entertaining movie. 2. The Pursuit of Happyness
From the acting to the directing, “The Pursuit of Happyness” is a phenomenal film. But what makes it so great is Will Smith’s performance. He perfectly portrays Chris Gardner, an entrepreneur who goes through poverty and homelessness with grace and perseverance.
Will Smith is known for his great performances in both serious and comedic roles, but this may be his best yet. He makes you feel the character’s emotions – from desperation to hope – and brings Gardner’s story to life on the big screen.
But this film isn’t just about Gardner’s struggle; it’s also about the love and support of his family. The scene in which Gardner finally reunites with his son is incredibly touching. It’s no wonder that Pursuit of Happyness has become a classic and it is easy to see why the role earned him an Oscar nomination. If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend watching this movie.
Will Smith is fantastic in Concussion. He brings a lot of depth and emotion to the role of Dr. Bennet Omalu, a forensic pathologist who first discovers and speaks out about the long-term dangers of head injuries in football players. Omalu is a very complex character, and Smith does an excellent job of portraying all sides of him – from his passion for his work to his stubbornness to his love for his family.
The rest of the cast is also great, and the film does a great job of depicting the NFL’s resistance to Omalu’s findings and the personal toll it takes on him. Concussion is an intense, emotional film that’s definitely worth watching.
4. Seven Pounds
Will Smith is one of the greatest actors of all time, and his performance in Seven Pounds is one of the best of his career. The film tells the story of Ben Thomas, a man who is struggling with a deep personal pain that has led him to isolate himself from the world. Ben decides to donate his organs to seven strangers in an attempt to find redemption for his past mistakes.
Smith brings incredible depth and emotion to the role of Ben Thomas, and he completely immerses himself in the character. The result is a powerful and moving performance that will stay with you long after you’ve seen the film. Seven Pounds is a must-see for any fans of Will Smith or great cinema.
5. Men In Black
Will Smith is a great actor and Men in Black is an excellent film. In my opinion, one of the reasons it’s so good is because of the great chemistry between Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. They make an excellent team and their interactions are very funny.
The sci-fi comedy Men in Black follows the adventures of two secret agents who work for a top-secret government organization that polices alien activity on Earth. The film was released in 1997 and was written and directed by Barry Sonnenfeld. It starred Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones as the two agents, and it was a major box office success, grossing over $585 million worldwide.
The film also has a great plot and some very exciting action scenes. Overall, it’s just an enjoyable movie to watch. I’m sure that other factors such as direction, writing, and special effects also contribute to its overall success.
6. Six Degrees of Separation
There’s no doubt that Will Smith is one of the biggest movie stars in the world, and this movie helped to cement his place as a leading man.
The story follows a young Harvard student (Smith) who is trying to find out how he is connected to Kevin Bacon. He starts with people that he knows and then traces their connections until he finds someone who knows Bacon. It’s an interesting premise for a movie, and it’s well-executed.
Smith is great in the lead role, and the supporting cast is strong too. The writing is good, and the direction is strong. Overall, it’s an enjoyable movie that will keep you entertained from start to finish.
7. Shark Tale
There are a lot of reasons why Shark Tale is one of the best Will Smith movies. For one, it’s a really fun and unique movie. It’s set in an underwater world and centers around a group of fish who have to deal with a shark who is terrorizing their neighborhood. The characters are all really vividly drawn and the animation is top-notch. But beyond all that, it’s just a really well-made movie that’s entertaining from start to finish.
Will Smith gives one of his best performances in Shark Tale as the voice of Oscar, a small fish who dreams of being something more than he is. He’s charming, funny, and endearing, and he brings real heart to the role
8. I Am Legend
Will Smith is an incredible actor and he was perfect for the role of Robert Neville in I am legend. This movie is amazing because it’s so suspenseful and it really makes you think about what could happen if a virus-like that were to spread.
I also love the fact that this movie isn’t your typical zombie movie where the focus is on gore and violence. I am legend is more about how Neville deals with being the last man on earth, and how he tries to find a way to save humanity. It’s a great movie for people who enjoy thinking about philosophical questions such as “what does it mean to be human?”
9. I, Robot
Will Smith is one of the best actors in Hollywood. He has a great track record of picking roles that showcase his talent and range as an actor. I, Robot am no exception. Smith stars as Del Spooner, a cynical detective in 2035 Chicago who’s investigating the death of a scientist who was working on revolutionary new robots. As Spooner delves deeper into the case, he uncovers a sinister plot involving the robots that could spell disaster for humanity.
Smith gives one of his best performances in I, Robot. He perfectly captures the paranoia and suspicion that Del Spooner feels towards the robots. His dialogue with them is electric, and you can really feel the tension between him and them. He also has great chemistry
10. Bad Boys
There’s just something about bad boys that makes them so irresistible, and Will Smith’s Bad Boys is the perfect example of this. His character, Mike Lowrey, is the epitome of a bad boy – he’s tough, he’s cool, and he doesn’t take anything from anyone. And yet, despite all of his rough edges, you can’t help but root for him.
Part of what makes Bad Boys so great is the chemistry between Will Smith and co-star Martin Lawrence. The two have undeniable on-screen chemistry and their comedic timing is spot on. They play off of each other perfectly and it really adds to the enjoyment of the film.
