From the acting to the directing, “The Pursuit of Happyness” is a phenomenal film. But what makes it so great is Will Smith’s performance. He perfectly portrays Chris Gardner, an entrepreneur who goes through poverty and homelessness with grace and perseverance.
Will Smith is known for his great performances in both serious and comedic roles, but this may be his best yet. He makes you feel the character’s emotions – from desperation to hope – and brings Gardner’s story to life on the big screen.
But this film isn’t just about Gardner’s struggle; it’s also about the love and support of his family. The scene in which Gardner finally reunites with his son is incredibly touching. It’s no wonder that Pursuit of Happyness has become a classic and it is easy to see why the role earned him an Oscar nomination. If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend watching this movie.
3. Concussion

Will Smith is fantastic in Concussion. He brings a lot of depth and emotion to the role of Dr. Bennet Omalu, a forensic pathologist who first discovers and speaks out about the long-term dangers of head injuries in football players. Omalu is a very complex character, and Smith does an excellent job of portraying all sides of him – from his passion for his work to his stubbornness to his love for his family.
The rest of the cast is also great, and the film does a great job of depicting the NFL’s resistance to Omalu’s findings and the personal toll it takes on him. Concussion is an intense, emotional film that’s definitely worth watching.

Will Smith is a great actor and Men in Black is an excellent film. In my opinion, one of the reasons it’s so good is because of the great chemistry between Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. They make an excellent team and their interactions are very funny.
The sci-fi comedy Men in Black follows the adventures of two secret agents who work for a top-secret government organization that polices alien activity on Earth. The film was released in 1997 and was written and directed by Barry Sonnenfeld. The story follows a young Harvard student (Smith) who is trying to find out how he is connected to Kevin Bacon. He starts with people that he knows and then traces their connections until he finds someone who knows Bacon. It’s an interesting premise for a movie, and it’s well-executed.

The characters are all really vividly drawn and the animation is top-notch. But beyond all that, it’s just a really well-made movie that’s entertaining from start to finish.

8. I Am Legend

Will Smith is an incredible actor and he was perfect for the role of Robert Neville in I am legend. This movie is amazing because it’s so suspenseful and it really makes you think about what could happen if a virus like that were to spread.
I also love the fact that this movie isn’t your typical zombie movie where the focus is on gore and violence. I am legend is more about how Neville deals with being the last man on earth, and how he tries to find a way to save humanity. It’s a great movie for people who enjoy thinking about philosophical questions such as “what does it mean to be human?”
9. I, Robot

Will Smith is one of the best actors in Hollywood. He has a great track record of picking roles that showcase his talent and range as an actor. I, Robot am no exception. There’s just something about bad boys that makes them so irresistible, and Will Smith’s Bad Boys is the perfect example of this. His character, Mike Lowrey, is the epitome of a bad boy – he’s tough, he’s cool, and he doesn’t take anything from anyone. And yet, despite all of his rough edges, you can’t help but root for him.
Part of what makes Bad Boys so great is the chemistry between Will Smith and co-star Martin Lawrence. The two have undeniable on-screen chemistry and their comedic timing is spot on. They play off of each other perfectly and it really adds to the enjoyment of the film.
