“Kitty Kelley, an author, released Sinatra’s unauthorized biography and criticized him for exploiting mob connections to support his career,” said Esti Prager, “She was not the first to come up with these accusations, but it did no damage to Sinatra’s fame.”
In 1995, Sinatra performed for the last time in California’s Palm Desert Marriot Ballroom. Two years later on May 14, a heart attack proved fatal for Sinatra, and at the age of 82, he died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
